What is ​Self-Transcendent Leadership?

​Self-Transcendence is the ability to lead from beyond our constant self-occupation. That does not mean that we have to become self-less. It does mean this however: All great leadership requires us to connect deeply with something that is larger than ourselves. After all that is the essence of great leadership: Creating a WE out of many MEs. Funneling creative and productive energy towards a joint vision. Developing deep and authentic relationships, based on care for each other. Giving back to society in ways that feel meaningful and fulfilling.
